(We do not risk breeding to dogs of unknown backgrounds - dogs found in the desert,
with no known or verifiable heritage, dogs with bizarre colors/patterns, etc.)
As an AKC Breeder of Merit we only breed to & with dogs with American Kennel Club (or established F.C.I.) pedigrees.

Az Bahja Saba was Best in Show at the 2012 SCOA National Specialty from the classes (over all of the Champions)!
She won WB on Friday, and then the Breed on Saturday.

And Flirt's granddaughter, sired by Fin Ch Dadaelis Nile of Tazillah, was awarded Best in Show at the Finnish
Saluki Specialty on the same day (6/9/12). Congratulations to Sunfire Fahimah al-Nil and her breeder Minna Saari!

Our Kumar's brother - Monab Hugo Boss of Ruwach - was Winners Dog/AOM at
the 2011 Saluki Club of America National Specialty in Lexington, KY.
Hugo finished his championship title the weekend of 3/23-24/13 with two more major wins!
Another brother - Ch Ruwach's Levi Strauss, JC - also won an Award of Merit, and Kumar won the very competitive Stud Dog class.

"Mussa" (Kumar x ZoŽ) won Winners Dog and Best Puppy at the
2010 Saluki Club of America National Specialty, Lexington, KY!

"Mussa" was also Winners Dog/Best of Winners and
Best of Breed at the 2010 SCOC Canadian National In Calgary, AB, at just 13 months old,
and finished his Canadian championship that weekend with WD or better all 3 days.
"Mussa" was Winners Dog/Best of Winners at the
2010 Saluki Club of Greater San Francisco Specialty for another 5 point major!
Mussa won Best of Breed at the Northern Cascades Saluki Fanciers Specialty, August 2013.
He repeated this win at the Northern Cascades Saluki Fanciers Specialty, August, 2014.

Joy incorporates two of the Ch. Pine Paddocks D'Jou D'Ji, C.D. litters (Warm Valley and Canem-Dei).
We currently have 2 males who are an unbroken, direct sire line back to CH ABDUL FAROUK -
Ch. Dadaelis Cairo (fawn) (now 14+ years old and neutered, but "collected"),

and his son BISS Am. Dual Ch. Can. Ch. Dadaelis Kushiel's Scion of T'Cai, SC "Jamil" (black & tan).

Dadaelis co-bred both Joppa and Simon.

This was the first time in the history of the Club (since 1927)
that the same breeders won both Best of Breed and Best of Opposite.

Dadaelis has been breeding quality sighthounds since the early 1970s.
Our first champion Saluki was born in 1967 (Ch. Billa de Esta Kismet).

In 1973 we bred the dam of the top-winning male Whippet in the history of the breed, Dadaelis Cerulea.
Ch. Sporting Fields Clansman's record of 59 All-Breed Best in Shows and Specialty wins
remains unbeaten today - 42 years later.

In 1974 we bred our first Saluki litter.
We still maintain a continuous line from that first litter.
