Preservation Breeders of Purebred Salukis

(We do not risk breeding to dogs with "unknown" backgrounds - dogs found in the desert,
with no known or verifiable heritage, dogs with bizarre colors/patterns, etc.)
As an AKC Breeder of Merit we only breed to & with dogs with American Kennel Club (or established F.C.I.) pedigrees.

- with 6 new Saluki Champions, new field Champions,

"Mussa" (Kumar x ZoŽ) won Winners Dog and Best Puppy at the
2010 Saluki Club of America National Specialty, Lexington, KY!

"Mussa" was also Winners Dog/Best of Winners and
Best in Specialty at the 2010 SCOC Canadian National In Calgary, AB, at just 13 months old,
and finished his Canadian championship that weekend with WD or better all 3 days.
"Mussa" was Winners Dog/Best of Winners at the
2010 Saluki Club of Greater San Francisco Specialty for another 5 point major!
"Mussa" won Best in Specialty at the Northern Cascades Saluki Fanciers Specialty, August 2013.
He repeated this win at the Northern Cascades Saluki Fanciers Specialty, August, 2014.

This was the first time in the history of the Club (since 1927)
that the same breeders won both Best of Breed and Best of Opposite.

Dadaelis has been breeding quality sighthounds since the early 1970s.
Our first champion Saluki was born in 1967 (Ch. Billa de Esta Kismet).

In 1973 we bred the dam of the top-winning male Whippet in the history of the breed, Dadaelis Cerulea.
Ch. Sporting Fields Clansman's record of 59 All-Breed Best in Shows and Specialty wins
remains unbeaten today - 43 years later.

In 1974 we bred our first Saluki litter.
We still maintain a continuous line from that first litter.
