 | At the Olympia KC show on 5/4/08 Kumar was WD and now just needs
one point to finish. The Cairo x Tirzah daughter, Phedre', Dadaelis Kushiel's Chosen of
T'Cai was WB/BW for her first point at just exactly 6 months of age.

 | Fin. Ch. Dadaelis Nile of Tazillah was awarded his first
International Certificate (CACIB) at the Lahti Int'l Dog Show in Finland, winning Best
Male and Best of Opposite Sex in an entry of 76 Salukis under Australian judge Erin Brown.

 | Kim Stewart's Australian import Elbahrani Xklusiv Tabu has a
litter of 10 puppies, sired by "Murphy" - Ch. Elessar's Janus Al Monab (Cairo
and Zoës brother). All puppies are feathered and there is a rainbow of colors - black tri
w/Irish markings, black & white parti, mahogany & white parti, gold w/Irish

 | Zoës big red boy, now called "Lucas", went to a fun
match on 3/2, charmed everyone and eventually won Puppy Group 2! He is owned by Kathy
Jones in Seattle.

 | Kasandra went to her new home in Washington on 2/17/08 and we now
just have one puppy left - the absolutely gorgeous and very sweet Kadeem. He is a
black-fringed fawn Smooth boy. Please see our "Future" page for photos.

 | Both Drachma and Kumar were awarded their JC titles on 2/17/08 in
Washington. Thanks to Susie Manthou for getting the dogs out for lure coursing.

 | Sharon Gause's much anticipated litter between "Simon"
(Ch. Monab American Idol) and Netanya (Ch. Ruwach Netanya) was born on 2/14/08. There are
five males and one female, all black, tan & white. You can see the information about

Netanya is Tirzah's sister and Simon was sired by Apollo's brother, Flash.

 | Azali - Ch. Dadaelis Azali Farouk, finished her championship on
2/9/08 at the Linn County KC show in Oregon. She is a Cairo x Flirt daughter, and is
co-owned with my friend Roberta Oliviero in Washington. She is our 46th
Saluki champion.

major at the Empire Saluki Club Specialty in New York on 2/8/08. He now has 8 points.
Lucky was bred by Kim Stewart, sired by Khalils Katra, SC (Swedish import) out of
Elbahrani Xklusiv Tabu, JC (Australian import), and is co-owned with Sue Ann Pietros and
Bill & Sue Flynn.

 | Our Japanese Chin puppy was awarded WD/BW at his debut show,
Wenatchee KC, at just under 8 months of age for 2 points on September 15th. The following
day he was RWD.

 | We welcome our newest household member Japanese Chin Two Oaks
Tancho Uno. Thanks to Sue Ann and Rachel for taking care of him at the campgrounds
during the SCOA National in Kentucky. He flew home with me, under the seat.

Int. Ch. El Hamrah Tiflah. There are 4 males and 4 females, 3 black & silvers and 5
fawns.

 | Zoë was WB both days at Mt. Baker KC and Cairo was WD both days,
May 19-20, 2007.

 | Black's son (and Joy's grandson), Denali's Kenai Fjords, won a 4
point major from the 9-12 month puppy class in Vero Beach, Florida on April 29, 2007.
Kenai is owned by his breeder Jane Worthington and is out of Amrika Aurora Borealis, Joy's
daughter out of Ch. Andi Raj Talai.

NORDYW-02 Red Hawk's Emina Farideh. There are 5 bitches, four fawns and one black &

 | Windstorm Ruwach CoCo Chanel was awarded Best Puppy in Specialty
at the Saluki Club of Canada Eastern Regional. CoCo is Kumar's sister and she was just
barely six months old. She's owned by Starr White in Canada, and is the only female (and
feathered) in the Bjorn x Athena litter.

- National Specialty Best of Breed to our "Joppa" and Best of Opposite Sex to our

For Impala. She is a sister to Lois' Ch. Impala Cannabis, who was Winners Bitch at the
2003 SCOA National Specialty. Orca is owned by Don Adams. This is the 8th Champion
offspring for ChaCha out of her two litters.

now just needs a major to finish his championship. He is a Joy son, out of Cheryl Myatt's
Tali. He is owned and shown by Cheryl.

 | Desert Rose Lion King was awarded Best of Breed over 6 Specials on the
first day of the 2005 Florida circuit. "Simba" now has 3 majors. He
is co-owned with Sue Ann Pietros and Cyndy Cowie Noah, bred by Tom & Judy Lauer, out
of their 2003 National Specialty winning Ch. Desert Rose Marrakesh ("Cous
Cous"), sired by Multi Int. Ch. Baghdad Creme De La Creme ("Jordan").

 | "Tirzah" - Ch. Dadaelis Tirzah finished
her American championship on November 13, 2004.

 | Tirzah was awarded Best of Breed over Specials all three days of the Lower Mainland
shows on 10/29-31/04.These are Canada's largest All-Breed shows of the year. In one
weekend of showing she's more than half way to her Canadian championship. Thanks to
everyone who cheered her on in the Groups!

 | Tirzah won Winners Bitch at the Puget Sound Saluki Club Specialty on 8/21/04 for a 5
point major.

 | Joy's daughter, Amrika Shenandoa "Shaina", finished her championship on
August 1st 2004, by winning Best of Breed over two Specials for her second major.
