Rescue Operations
Our mission extends beyond adoption. We dedicate ourselves to rescuing Salukis in need, providing them with the care they require, and ultimately placing them in loving forever homes. Our rescue operations are at the heart of what we do.
Our Rescue Mission
Every Saluki deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life. We are committed to rescuing Salukis from a variety of circumstances including abandonment, neglect, or from situations where they can no longer be cared for by their owners. Our team works tirelessly to ensure these noble dogs receive a second chance.
What We Do
Rescue: We respond to alerts from shelters, other rescue groups, and private individuals to take Salukis into our care. Our network of volunteers coordinates the safe transport of these dogs to our facility or foster homes.
Rehabilitation: Many of the Salukis we rescue require medical treatment, rehabilitation, and behavioral training. We provide comprehensive veterinary care and work with behaviorists to address any issues, ensuring they are healthy and ready for adoption.
Rehoming: Through our adoption program, we find loving homes for Salukis that have been rescued. We strive to match each dog with a family that can meet its specific needs, ensuring a successful and permanent placement.
